Job Description

CNC MACHINIST NEEDED!

The schedule for this role is 7:00pm-7:00am. The CNC position works on an "Off Work Week" schedule which is highly sought after as a stable rotating biweekly schedule. This 3rd shift schedule offers a generous shift differential. Volunteer overtime opportunities are available!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Operation of ALL CNC equipment. (Saws, Mills, Grinder, OKUMA's)
  • Follow both written and verbal work instructions, use approved gauges and tools to inspect parts.
  • Identify and correct machining problems relative to tools and tool holders, collets and chucks.
  • Accurately collect data as defined in the work instructions.
  • Snag: impact, grinding, and T.E. Cutback Machine.
  • Meet an acceptable level of the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.
  • Keep work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition.
  • Perform other duties that are assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School degree or equivalent required; machinist trade school certificate a plus
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
  • Pass annual vision screening
  • Must show ability to follow detailed procedures reliably
  • Be able to meet daily production goals
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Demonstrate proficiency of applicable procedure instructions
