In 2016, Berkshire Hathaway, led by Chairman and CEO Warren E. Buffett, acquired Precision Castparts Corp. Job Description CNC MACHINIST NEEDED! The schedule for this role is 7:00pm-7:00am. The CNC position works on an "Off Work Week" schedule which is highly sought after as a stable rotating biweekly schedule. This 3rd shift schedule offers a generous shift differential. Volunteer overtime opportunities are available! RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties Include but not limited to: Operation of ALL CNC equipment. (Saws, Mills, Grinder, OKUMA's) Follow both written and verbal work instructions, use approved gauges and tools to inspect parts. Identify and correct machining problems relative to tools and tool holders, collets and chucks. Accurately collect data as defined in the work instructions. Snag: impact, grinding, and T.E. Cutback Machine. Meet an acceptable level of the specific requirements of the efficiency standards. Keep work area in a clean, orderly, and safe working condition. Perform other duties that are assigned by the Supervisor. QUALIFICATIONS: High School degree or equivalent required; machinist trade school certificate a plus Must be able to lift a minimum of 35lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
