Our Military Aircraft Group is seeking a proactive and detail-orientedOperations Coordinatorto help drive operational excellence and support mission-critical logistics. You will report to the Inventory Control & Shipping Supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule (6:00am - 2:30pm) in Torrance, CA.

As an Operations Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate daily work assignments, equipment needs, and staffing to meet production goals Develop plan of the day with stockroom supervisor.

  • Monitor productivity throughout all work centers.

  • Review NC queue, shortage queue, receiving rack and all 4 kit pull queues.

  • Monitor progress of kit pulling and shift logistics techs as necessary

  • Monitor progress of receiving efforts and shift logistics techs as necessary

  • Lead process improvements and Lean initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Support employee development and team performance.

  • Provides exceptional customer service both internal and external. Fulfills needs upon request when applicable.

  • Monitor NC queue and closed out NCs. Disposition or assign to stockroom team as necessary.

  • Monitor emails and requests daily.

To be considered for this role, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of Shipping/Receiving experience

It'd be great if you also had:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of Shipping/Receiving experience and/or Associate Degree and 3+ years of Shipping/Receiving experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

  • Effective planning and organizational skills.

Salary Range Transparency:

Torrance, CA $31.00-$37.00 Hourly

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.
