Job Description
ROLE OVERVIEW A Preventative Maintenance Technician supports all machine maintenance in the facility. Compensation is based off skill set and experience (Starting anywhere from $24-$32) Our shifts: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm BENEFITS: start day one of employment!

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
- Responsible for following all plant and department specific safety rules, procedures, and programs. Wearing all required personal protective equipment for all plant, department, and task specific requirements.
- Responsible for appropriately escalating safety issues.
- Troubleshooting both electrically and mechanically - working with hand tools, belts, lubrication, and hose/piping repairs.
- Work with Maintenance Planner/Scheduler relative to equipment issues found during the inspection/preventative maintenance process.
- Responsible for the preventative maintenance backlog and responsible for keeping the backlog to a prescribed amount and less than a prescribed date range.
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
- Responsible for approving any newly entered PM
- Able to maintain all auxiliary systems within the facility. This includes but is not limited to: PRI, 45 Degree Water, 85 Degree Water, Air Compressors, Air Dryers, etc.
Level 1:
- All duties outlined in level 2
- Responsible for mentoring and training all new PM Technicians.
- Development and updating training documentation.
- Ability to perform duties outside the specific confines of the written PM. Meaning, able to seek out and found other machine issues that are not relevant to the PM being worked on. Capable of fixing what is found and for those that requiring more resources, capable of filling out necessary work orders to capture and communicate details.
- Take ownership for the Planned Downtime Event. Act as a Leader for each event to insure that all issues are resolved during the event.
- Responsible for the evolution of all current PM's by adding content, procedures, part numbers, etc... while working with the maintenance admin.
- Responsible for the awareness of equipment losses and how they correlate to the PM Plan for future outages
- Mentor and Train new hires placed into the Maintenance Department
Level 2:
- Ability to perform all basic PM duties/tasks
- Responsible for the evolution of all current PM's. Adding content, procedures, part numbers, etc. Able to work with maintenance admin to add necessary content. Content to include part information, procedural updates and development, etc.
- Ability to escalate breakdown events and/or unplanned events appropriately by communicating with the shift team lead to get all necessary people (Production Supervisor, Lead Operator, Specialist, and/or Process or Project Engineering) involved to troubleshoot the issue and identify a timeline.
