Overview

R&P is looking for a motivated professional who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing program management, ship design, production, cyber risk management, testing, logistics, financial management, test and evaluation, configuration management, post-delivery, fleet introduction, light manufacturing, as well as maintenance and repair services to our government clients and industry partners. We need a Trial Card Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in support of the Strategic & Theater Sealift Shipbuilding Program (PMS 385).



Responsibilities

    Provides ship trial deficiency management support to a major Navy shipbuilding program office during post delivery sea trial events. This includes getting underway with the ship.
  • Maintains the Program trial card database utilizing existing trial card management software and processes to include data maintenance and backup.
  • Participates in post-trial screening conferences, as required, as well as to record, maintain and assist in the adjudication of trial cards through to completion of work in the Government's trial card database for each ship from ship Delivery up to transfer to the Navy's Fleet maintenance organization.
  • Performs deficiency data analysis and provide reports on trial card status as requested.
  • Up to 25% travel per year.


Qualifications

  • HS Diploma/GED with 7+ years' relevant experience in engineering/science management, production management or schedule analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations (preferred).
  • Active Secret Clearance.
