Position Title: Repair Technician
Wage: $17/hour ($20 once hired on) Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3:30pm QPS Employment Group is hiring a Repair Technician for a company in Waterloo, IA. This is an associate to hire role. Repair Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Perform thorough inspections to identify damage, wear, or safety issues - Use diagnostic tools to evaluate brakes, lights, suspension, and electrical systems - Weld or fabricate parts when necessary (MIG, TIG, stick welding depending on the trailer type) - Perform regular service and preventative maintenance - Repair or replace axles, brakes, wheels, tires, suspension parts, doors, flooring, roofs, and side panels Repair Technician Requirements: - Hand tools power tools knowledge required - Ability to read blueprints or technical diagrams QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
