Title: IT Analyst Technical (Cyber)

Duration: 06 months

Location: Remote


We are seeking detail-oriented and organized security specialist to join our team, with a focus on supporting the implementation and management of our public key infrastructure, secure file transfers, and encryption technologies. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will assist in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's data.

Essential Functions:

* Assist in the implementation and management of our PKI infrastructure, including certificate authorities, registration authorities, and certificate revocation lists.

* Support the configuration and management of secure file transfer systems, such as SFTP, to ensure secure data transfer between systems and partners.

* Help develop and maintain documentation for PKI and encryption systems, including technical guides, policies, and procedures.

* Assist in providing training and support to other teams regarding PKI, secure file transfers, and encryption best practices.

* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging threats and assist in recommending improvements to PKI and encryption infrastructure and systems.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure PKI and encryption solutions are integrated with other security systems and applications.

Additional Required Qualifications:

* 1+ years of experience in IT or a similar field, with a basic understanding of cryptographic concepts and protocols.

* Familiarity with security protocols, including TLS, SSL, and S/MIME.

* Basic knowledge of security best practices and industry standards, including HIPPA, SOC2, HiTrust.

* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical issues and develop creative solutions.

* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

* Entry level experience with certificate management software, such as Microsoft Active Directory Certificate Services, DigiCert, or Entrust.

* Basic familiarity with encryption technologies, such as PGP or AES.

* Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python.

* Foundational knowledge of agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

Required Work Experience:

1+ years related work experience

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Education:

Bachelor's degree in a related field

Required Licenses and/or Certifications

* CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent) certification required within 180 days of hire.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

*Experience using Agile methodology.

*Professional work experience or internship in the IT field.Position is offered by a no fee agency.
