Position Summary

The ADTECH Manager of Business Development's primary role is to organize, strengthen, and manage ADTECH's Business Development process, procedures, and resources in order to allow operating units to effectively seek, capture, and respond to business opportunities.


Duties And Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL:

  • Work with the ADTECH Director of Strategy and select business unit personnel to develop, organize, and maintain the data required to improve efficiency in responding to RFPs/RFQs (i.e. resumes, past performance, management write-ups, etc).
  • Work with the ADTECH Director of Strategy, and ADTECH Business Units, to develop ADTECH Business Development Strategy and plans to implement it.
  • Coordinate with corporate Technology Roadmap team to track corporate technology developments and ensure ADTECH is included in those efforts and assessments.
  • Assess needs and implement training program to ensure business development participants are adequately trained.
  • Work with key operating group personnel to develop and implement capture plan strategies for upcoming new opportunities and re-competition of existing contracts.
  • Work with proposal team members to develop and implement winning and cost effective proposal strategies.
  • Maintain ADTECH's Business Capture Procedure Instruction. Track pursuit efforts by business units.
  • Serve as Executive Secretary for the Navy Advisory Group.

ADDITIONAL:

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's degree in liberal arts or an engineering or science subject area. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Understanding of Navy operations.
  • Experience in business development in the government area, with an emphasis on DoD. (Not mandatory)
  • Knowledge of the government budget process.
  • Knowledge of the business development process.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with others.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to teach others.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
  • Must be able to obtain security clearance.

PAY, BENEFITS AND WORK SCHEDULE:

We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Employee benefits vary by role, however, may include Health and Wellness, Mental Health, Retirement Savings, Life and Disability, Paid Maternity and Parental Leave, Paid Time Off, Tuition Reimbursement, and an Employee Assistance Program. Annualized pay for this position : $148,750 - $201,250.
