IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ASSISTANT JOB OPPORTUNITY OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST ORTHOPAEDIC AND SPINE CENTERS IN THE AREA FULL TIME OPPORTUNITY WITH ROOM FOR ADVANCEMENT 36 HOUR WORK WEEK $24/HR WATERBURY, CT CAN START IMMEDIATLEY Qualifications: * 2 years of medical assistant experience * Medical Assistant certification/registered MA required * Experience handling patient triage/vital signs/injections * Experience working with EMR systems * Excellent communication skills Description: * Serve as a liaison between physicians and patients * Conduct patient triage * Document in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) * Prepare patients for procedures * Assist physicians with examinations and procedures * Assist with patient scheduling as needed * Conduct care plan/treatment plan tracking * Manage/maintain equipment and supply inventory * All other duties as assigned by supervisor or direct management Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45425.00 - $49375.00/yr.
