Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement

The Senior Manager, Commercial Enablement will set the strategic direction and oversee the execution of all training and development programs for the Restaurant Technologies commercial organization. This pivotal role is responsible for scaling our enablement initiatives to drive significant gains in sales productivity and efficiency.

This leader will deliver high-impact learning programs for all commercial teams, including National Accounts, Mid-Market, and Retail, and our Sales Managers. A key priority will be building out a comprehensive development program for our sales managers to elevate their coaching and leadership capabilities. This individual will also spearhead the selection and implementation of a new Learning Management System (LMS) to maximize the scale, efficiency, and impact of our training efforts. Ultimately, this role is accountable for ensuring our commercial teams have the knowledge, skills, and tools to achieve our revenue goals and drive predictable growth.

Location and Travel

This position can be located anywhere in the continental US with up to 20% domestic travel to corporate and field locations; expect higher travel during onboarding for field based activities and team workshops.

Compensation

$140k - 165k base salary plus 20% incentive opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Strategic Program Development: Set the strategic vision for commercial enablement. Design, develop, and maintain a highly relevant, goal-oriented training roadmap that aligns with key business objectives and go-to-market strategies.
  • Expanded Audience Impact: Develop and deliver targeted enablement programs for all commercial teams-National Accounts, Mid-Market, and Retail-addressing their unique needs, sales cycles, and customer profiles.
  • Manager & Leadership Development: Architect and implement a dedicated learning and development curriculum for sales managers, focusing on advanced coaching techniques, performance management, pipeline strategy, and leadership skills.
  • LMS Implementation and Ownership: Lead the end-to-end selection, implementation, and rollout of a new Learning Management System (LMS) to create a centralized, scalable platform for all learning content and performance tracking.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with executive and senior stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Product Management to ensure enablement programs are fully aligned with company-wide go-to-market strategies and product roadmaps.
  • Performance Measurement & Optimization: Establish and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) that measure the business impact of enablement programs, including ramp time, quota attainment, win rates, and overall sales productivity.
  • Onboarding & Foundational Skills: Evolve and manage the new hire onboarding program to ensure new team members are ramped effectively and efficiently.
  • Needs Analysis & Continuous Improvement: Conduct ongoing needs analysis to identify knowledge and skill gaps across the commercial teams. Continuously seek and support new approaches, practices, and technologies to improve the efficiency and efficacy of our enablement programs.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 7-10+ years of combined experience in sales, sales enablement, or sales training roles.

  • Proven experience designing and executing strategic enablement programs that drive measurable improvements in sales productivity.

  • Experience in Learning Management System (LMS) administration

  • Experience building enterprise-wide training programs for sales organizations with segmented sales teams and sales leadership/management.

  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to take initiative, anticipate organizational needs, and develop a forward-looking strategy for team member development.

  • Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.

  • Modern Enablement Methodologies: Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, modern training techniques, and the end-to-end learning process, from needs assessment to delivery and evaluation.

  • Leadership Presence: High level of professionalism, assertiveness, and the ability to build credibility and strong partnerships with business leaders.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Experience leading the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS).
