Print Estimation Supervisor

We're looking for a skilled and motivated Estimation Supervisor to lead our team of estimators within the Global Print division. In this key leadership role, you'll oversee the creation of accurate, timely, and cost-effective production estimates that support our print operations. You'll also drive process improvements, mentor your team, and ensure alignment with broader business goals.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Estimation Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of estimators, providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Oversee the preparation of detailed production estimates based on customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, Account Management, Sourcing, and Production teams to ensure estimates meet customer and company standards.
  • Review and update estimates as project requirements evolve; Support budgeting, resource planning, and capital investment proposals related to estimation.
  • Ensure the team meets quality, productivity, and service-level goals; Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational policies.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to clarify project needs and recommend estimation strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on estimation processes and best practices, identify and implement process improvements and standardization efforts.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to anticipate needs and deliver solutions. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Monitor and report on key metrics such as estimate accuracy, team productivity, and customer satisfaction.

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Print Estimation Supervisor if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with 5+ years of experience in commercial and book printing, with a strong background in estimating.
  • Proven leadership experience in a production or estimation environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of offset and digital print production processes.
  • Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and estimation software (EPS iQuote experience is a plus).
  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
