POSITION SUMMARY: This role requires an experienced and dynamic individual. This role is pivotal in driving the financial strategy and day-to-day financial operations of the organization. The SVP of Finance will oversee all finance and ensuring robust financial planning, risk management and compliance.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Key Responsibilities:



  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to the organization.
  • Act as a key member of the executive team providing keen insight, guidance, and visibility regarding finance, risk, planning and strategy.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term financial planning.
  • Optimize cash flow and working capital management.
  • Lead and mentor high-performing accounting and finance teams, promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Ensure robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee insurance and risk management programs. Not sure this will continue?
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
  • Oversee internal and external audits.
  • Oversee relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Direct cash flow operations, including forecasting, liquidity analysis and investment strategies
  • Optimize working capital by actively overseeing the management of receivables, payables and banking operations
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance, accurate tax estimates, and strategic tax planning.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong background in financial planning, risk management, and financial operations.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to toggle between strategic and operational tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for people development and team leadership.


SKILL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Experience working in a high-growth organization and developing metrics & KPIs to monitor financial performance.
  • Proven financial acumen and ability to work within a complex financial structure
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with Senior executives, with proven ability to demonstrate respect and cultural awareness when interacting with internal and external stakeholders.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • The performance of this position will require exposure to the manufacturing areas were all areas require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shops and other mandatory safety equipment.
  • For the most part, ambient temperatures with typical plant lighting and manufacturing equipment are present throughout the facility.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • Sit or Stand as needed
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day
  • Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist or lifting as required to reach documents or store materials throughout the workday.
  • Proper lifting techniques required
