Farnsworth Group is seeking an Entry-Level Landscape Architectural Designer in one of the below posting locations. As an Entry-Level Designer, you will support landscape architecture projects from concept through construction, working on a diverse portfolio that includes public spaces, private developments, parks, campuses, and more.
Posting Location(s) for this role: St. Louis, MO
Job Activities:


  • Assisting with the planning, design, bidding, and construction administration of projects
  • Preparing conceptual sketches, technical drawings, and presentation materials
  • Supporting the Project Landscape Architect with proposals, cost estimates, specifications, and reports
  • Participating in client, contractor, and project team meetings
  • Performing site observation and construction administration tasks
  • Delivering work that is accurate, timely, and reflective of Farnsworth's high standards


Specific Requirements include:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program
  • 0-3 years of related professional experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience using AutoCAD for drafting
  • Knowledge of plant materials including trees, shrubs, and perennials
  • Preferred knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Interest in learning or expanding skills in 3D design and graphics software
  • Valid Driver's License
