A Brief Overview

The Sr Director Production-Touring will lead the production efforts across a variety of projects, including large-scale events, one-off performances, and touring shows in arenas and stadiums. They will play a key role in developing strategies to align the production process and ensuring the highest standards of quality. Additionally, they will work closely with the direct support team to develop and oversee budgets, logistics, and foster industry relationships to ensure long term partnerships.

What you will do



  • Leads a business-critical function, by directing teams to integrate disciplines, develop production plans, manage budgets, and maintain client relationships.
  • Oversees vendor, venue, and production team coordination by strategically selecting contracts and negotiating while ensuring seamless advance planning and onsite execution.
  • Drives strategic communication with the Touring team to ensure all production details are accurately integrated and aligned with established policies and procedures across all projects and tours.
  • Ensuring collaboration with show accountants by overseeing expense tracking and verifying the accuracy of financial reporting during the settlement process.
  • Develops and maintains key vendor relationships by negotiating global deals and optimizing operations that ensures efficient support for large-scale productions.
  • Drives growth by identifying and securing new direct support opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the organizations service offerings


Education Qualifications



  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in a related field


Experience Qualifications



  • 8-10 years Of related work experience
  • 8-10 years Previous leadership experience
  • 8-10 years Experience working in the music related industry


Skills and Abilities



  • Knowledge of overall show production
  • Strong technical production knowledge
  • Budget management using Excel and internal financial systems
  • Ability to read and understand CAD (Computer-Aided Design) drawings and blueprints for set designs and staging.
  • Expertise in contract negotiation, vendor relations, and overseeing third-party services.
  • Excellent intrapersonal skills such as strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); and ability to learn required business systems
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load; strong time management skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must have a calm demeanor, good attitude and must be team orientated


Payscale: $149,153 - $235,151

Bonus:(If applicable) This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
