Job Description Summary

Provide administrative support for the Department by gathering, inputting, and maintaining data and preparing information and reports representing the activity of the Department. Supports the activities related to sampling of raw materials and components received at the site. The RM administrative coordinator will perform the essential duties relating to all aspects of sampling, tagging, reconciling, management of supplier COA, and movement of the samples including chain of custody of materials received into the laboratories. Other activities may include scanning and /or filing of documents, and final lifecycle management of the sampled materials.

Job Description

The expected base pay range for this position is $42,319.00 - $67,710.00. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion.

Essential Functions

Retain Sample Management - remove QC retain materials from labs to designated vault, coordinate storage of materials designated to vault tote inventory as per DEA Regulations. Coordinate laboratory waste streams.

Coordinate QA retains from the packaging lines. Physical Investigations of QA retains for Customer Complaints Annual Visual reserve - cGMP requirement to visually monitor samples each year to assess for visual changes in product. Collect and input data on department activities/materials into various databases and/or spreadsheets/graphs and can convert data into analytical information.

Retrieve, review, and validate department information; create reports, charts, and graphs to illustrate. Print various reports as needed. Provide updated department information to supervisors and/or management as needed. Must be able to work independently on projects.

Inspection of incoming raw material or components and sampling using proper statistical representation of raw materials or components.

Maintains accurate records of the sampling, tracking and movement of materials between WHS and QC labs for testing. Manage the retain process and the 12F-Vault process.

Minimum Requirements

Education / Experience / Skills:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's Degree in science related field is preferred or Associate's Degree with equivalent combination of education, experience and competencies.

Experience:

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a Quality Control testing, manufacturing or distribution center environment.

cGMP preferred.

License/Certifications: PIT Certification

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions furnished in written and oral form and deal with problems involving standardized situations.
  • Perform the basic functions of arithmetic; add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure.
  • Perform reading, writing and speaking at a basic level.
  • BPCS Inventory Transactions
  • Perform reading, writing, and speaking at a basic level.
  • Basic to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel and database software.
  • Ability to understand and apply cGMP, SOP, and DEA regulations.
  • Ability to deal with and solve problems of moderate difficulty.
  • Self-motivated, demonstrates initiative, able to make good decisions under pressure.
  • Possess sufficient interpersonal skills to be able to function as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Visual demand requires clarity of vision at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships, bring object into sharp focus and see up and down or to the right or left while fixed on a point.
  • Mental demand involves significant attention to details of paperwork and inventory situations.
  • Wide variety of working conditions exist, both inside and outside, with exposure to weather elements, extreme heat and extreme cold, noise, dust, vibration, physical hazards associated with equipment operated.
  • Protective clothing including shirt, slacks, safety glasses, booties, hairnet, gloves, hardhat and dust mask are worn at various times in performance of the job functions.
