The Supervisor, Logistics utilizing technical, interpersonal and critical thinking skills that reflect the mission, philosophy and goals of the organization, is responsible for the day to day operational performance of supply chain management as it relates to inventory methodologies, perpetual inventories, supply chain policies, and financial processes so that cost containment and specialty items are consistently maintained for all non-labor supply areas, including Pharmacy. Supports senior leadership with all supply chain functions such as supply standardization processes and work with charge capture throughout the hospital. Utilizes systems for PAR replenishment, analyzing what items need to be removed, adjusted, and utilizes systems to get results. Responsible to ensure that the right product is available at the right time, which include the Low-Unit-Of-Measure continuous PAR replenishment program, product review, forms management, Xerox and other purchased services. Acts as subject matter expert for all official inventory and evaluate inventory levels, making adjustments to inventory min/max/reorder levels, safety stock, lead times, and inventory formulas to ensure sufficient supply to meet customers' needs while maintaining targeted inventory turns.

Qualifications

Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:



  • Minimum of five years experience in Materials Management/Supply Chain Logistics.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Must be technologically savvy.
  • Ability to work independently and be self directed.
  • Ability to direct others and provide recommendations for change.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to think out of the box and create new procedures that coincide or solve issues pertaining to supply chain operations.
  • Ability to prioritize work load and delegate when needed.


Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:



  • Bachelor's degree/Healthcare Supply Chain Logistics
