Job Description

The Application Administrator (Oracle Cloud Fusion), serves as senior level analyst and team leader for Oracle Cloud Fusion. SaaS systems and initiatives. Generally, these initiatives involve the ownership and management of non-ERP Business Systems. This position guides assigned resources to examine current and future business needs as well as processes and procedures to develop or evaluate appropriate solution strategies. The Application Administrator collaborates with internal business groups, senior management, information technology specialists and external solutions providers to provide complex analysis and consultation. The Application Administrator supports management in developing other Business Analysts and Application Administrators within the organization.



  • An Oracle Cloud Fusion Administrator is responsible for maintaining, configuring, and supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, EPM, OCI, OIC) to ensure smooth enterprise operations.
  • Manage system settings, user roles, and security configurations in Oracle Fusion modules.
  • Monitor application performance and conduct tuning activities.
  • Configure workflows, approval rules, and enterprise structures.
  • Provision and de-provision user accounts.
  • Assign and manage user roles and data access using Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Ensure compliance with data security and audit requirements.
  • Monitor integration and interface jobs (e.g., with Oracle Integration Cloud, external systems).
  • Troubleshoot application errors, data issues, and system outages.
  • Coordinate with Oracle support (via SRs) for escalated technical issues.
  • Apply quarterly Oracle Cloud updates (readiness, regression testing, impact analysis).
  • Coordinate testing and deployment with IT and business teams.
  • Oversee integrations between Oracle Fusion and external systems (e.g., payroll, banking, legacy ERP).
  • Validate APIs and interface mapping.
  • Use OTBI, BI Publisher, or Smart View to create reports and dashboards.
  • Manage data loading via FBDI, ADFdi, or HDL templates.
  • Work closely with functional leads, business analysts, and developers.
  • Document configuration changes, procedures, and best practices.



An Ideal Candidate Will Have



  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or commensurate business experience
  • Experience (3+ years) in business systems analysis, project, or team leadership, with deep knowledge of one or more major business functions (Operations, Commercial, Quality, Finance, IT)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Outlook)
  • Strong experience in ERP systems and use of Information Technology to support business objectives
  • Business ethics, objective judgment, organizational, negotiation, and change management skills
  • Acts as the champion of Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Provides support to end users on operation and configuration of Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Supports and works with external resources supporting Oracle Cloud Fusion.
  • Supports and develops integration functions and processes across various ERP and SaaS solutions.
  • Supports and develops data reporting functions in the context of assigned SaaS systems.
  • Decomposes high-level business and user requirements into functional and system requirements.
  • Experience in leading Customer Relationship Management systems
