JOB TITLE:

Campus Engagement Coordinator

JOB PURPOSE:

The Campus Engagement Coordinator interfaces with key campus constituents to generate attitudinal and behavior support for Foundation funds and stewardship activities. This position works to build relationships between campus partners and the UW Foundation. Provides professional guidance to execute stewardship reports, proper fund management, and foundation relations. Works collaboratively with the head of campus units, and Foundation teams to maximize campus success.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Distribute new fund agreements to campus monthly.
  • Participate in the monitoring and analysis of donor funds and identify campus needs and convey areas for improvement.
  • Maintain and provide overview of Foundation resources available to campus partners.
  • Regularly meet with campus partners to assess goals and priorities, partnering with Foundation departments as needed or applicable.
  • Manage campus and Foundation interaction and relationship building opportunities.
  • Build and manage relationships with internal Foundation staff (Development, Accounting, etc.)
  • Review department funds for high balances and/or lack of expenditures in the last few fiscal years.
  • Strategize with campus partners to determine how to spend, reinvest, or amend difficult funds.
  • Assist with a campus-wide stewardship plan, including assessment and tracking of current campus stewardship practices.
  • Assist with the preparation, production, and distribution of the annual partnership reports and serving as a key point person for campus and endowment related inquiries.
  • Liaison with campus for annual endowed faculty tracking and reporting.
  • Manage onboarding for new and existing named position holders, including developing a standard of best stewardship practices.
  • Audit and maintain records and files as needed, including gift agreement file cleanup.
  • Assist with other gift administration duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1 + years of office or professional experience

  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Microsoft applications
  • Knowledge of financial documents and reports
  • Experience with higher education administration or non-profit administration
