Head Cook I-FTP2 (Day Shift)

Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour ($17.50 per hourafter 30 days)

• The Head Cook I is responsible for setting up and monitoring ovens during cooking process.
• The worker transporting racks of product from the cool room to the oven and removes racks from the oven after cooking.
• The Cook is responsible for moving racks of product. Racks of product are moved using a powered cart/mover, but carts are positioned to maximize floor space in the oven and in storage areas.
• The Cook is responsible for standing to observe ovens and set up/control machinery panels and to observe oven displays during the cooking process.
• The worker also stands to perform checks after product is removed from the oven, and when weighing racks.
• To operate and monitor all cooking processes and programs.Help maintain and improve quality and food safety, to ensure compliance with company quality standards and USDA regulatory requirements.

• Must be able to read, speak, and understand English.
• Must be able to pull and push racks of product up to 2000 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, balance, reach, handle, stand, climb, rotate
• Must be able to scan product.
• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environment.
• Must be able to communicate with maintenance, USDA, Q.A and Management.
• Ability to operate Pallet Jack and CartCaddy.
