HR Generalist - Manufacturing Industry

BBSI is excited to partner with a top-tier Industrial Manufacturer based in the Inland Empire. We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team and take a leadership role in fostering a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture.

We are seeking a proactive, people-oriented HR professional with a strong background in employee relations. This hands-on HR Generalist role supports a 200+ employee manufacturing operation across two locations-Corona and Hesperia, CA.

In this critical role, you'll serve as a trusted partner to both employees and leadership, handling investigations, resolving conflicts, guiding performance conversations, and driving a positive workplace culture rooted in fairness, accountability, and respect.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Lead and manage employee relations matters, including workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee complaints
  • Serve as a key advisor to managers on performance management, coaching, and progressive discipline
  • Support HR compliance and documentation to ensure consistency and adherence to federal, state, and company policies
  • Build strong relationships across all levels of the organization through effective communication and presence
  • Conduct employee meetings and one-on-ones to promote open dialogue and employee engagement
  • Support onboarding, orientation, and policy training for new and existing employees
  • Travel regularly between Corona and Hesperia sites to ensure consistent support and HR visibility
  • Support payroll and other HR administrative tasks as needed
  • Collaborate and partner with the PEO support team

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Demonstrated expertise in employee relations, investigations, terminations, and performance issues
  • Solid understanding of California labor laws and HR best practices
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish - must be able to communicate fluently and professionally in both languages
  • Ability to travel regularly between Corona and Hesperia locations
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, solution-oriented approach
  • Self-starter with excellent judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism
