Schedule: 1st shift Key Responsibilities: Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and service on commercial and industrial HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple campus buildings. Conduct inspections, tests, and data analysis to ensure proper equipment function, and provide recommendations based on findings. Understand and work with HVAC equipment, controls, and sequences of operation, including large air handlers, refrigeration units, and steam systems. Ensure all work follows strict safety procedures, including pre-task planning and OSHA 10 certification within 90 days. Install and assist in the replacement and start-up of HVACR equipment, working alongside millwrights when needed. Maintain EPA-compliant refrigerant practices and complete monthly written refrigerant reports. Must be flexible to work emergencies, participate in an on-call rotation (one week every 8 weeks), and work overtime as needed. Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma (or GED), Vocational or Industry Trade School Certificate Business Experience: 5-7 years of experience in HVACR related work Licenses/Certifications: EPA Universal Certification Technical Qualifications & Skills: Use computer, tablets, and smartphones This is a direct hire position with benefits offered by our client including paid training, 401k with match, tuition reimbursement, PTO accrual, and more!
