Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Epicor ERP professional to lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing optimization of our Epicor ERP system. This role will serve as both a strategic leader and hands-on technical expert, managing a team of Epicor developers and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the ERP platform aligns with business goals and drives operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:



  • ERP Strategy & Architecture


    • Define and maintain the Epicor ERP system architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and integration with other enterprise systems.
    • Lead the design and execution of multi-site Epicor Kinetic implementations and upgrades.


  • Team Leadership


    • Manage and mentor a team of Epicor developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and performance feedback.
    • Act as a "player-coach," balancing leadership with hands-on development and troubleshooting.


  • Project Management


    • Oversee ERP implementation projects from planning through go-live and long term support, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and ensure alignment with operational needs.


  • System Optimization & Support


    • Drive continuous improvement of ERP processes, including automation, reporting, and user experience enhancements.
    • Collaborate with IT and business units to resolve system issues and implement enhancements.


  • Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination


    • Liaise with Epicor and third-party vendors for system customization and support.
    • Communicate effectively with executive leadership, department heads, and end users.




Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with at least 7 years in Epicor ERP.
  • Proven experience leading Epicor implementations across multiple sites.
  • Strong knowledge of Epicor modules including Manufacturing, MRP, Finance, and Supply Chain.
  • Proficiency in SQL, SSRS, and Epicor customization tools (BPMs, BAQs, dashboards).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.



Preferred:



  • Experience in manufacturing or aerospace sectors.
  • Familiarity with Epicor REST API and integration with external systems.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.
