Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Work with clients to receive information prior to established deadlines, such as Third-Party Authorizations, 7216s, and POAs.
- Attends client meetings as needed with Directors and Managing Directors to ensure completion of action items and client deliverables within established deadlines.
- Drives engagement/tax teams to ensure projects stay on task and meet established deadlines
- Master internal processes and systems to ensure every task moves smoothly from start to finish. Proactively seek solutions when process bottlenecks or system issues occur.
- Manage client expectations of deliverables by regular electronic and verbal communication with client.
- Proactively communicates with internal engagement teams to verify and finalize deliverables
- Ensures collaboration and connection on shared tasks across industry and service line teams.
- Updates various tracking systems to ensure all products are properly filed, including generating reports as needed.
- Troubleshoots delivery issues with clients, including software education and due dates to ensure efficient turnaround of deliverables.
- Management of various special projects, including working with others to ensure quality and timely completion.
- Manage and prioritize a large volume of electronic correspondence via Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
- Assists Directors and Managing Directors with the client onboarding process to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the process.
- Leverages various software to ensure clients deadlines are met including, but not limited to: Practice Engine, CCH Axcess, Adobe, Concur, Docuware, Amelio, Caseware, etc.
- Supports internal and external event coordination as needed
- Assists with and maintain client communication for team
- Establishes regular communication cadence with teams to provide for regular updates for team, establishing clear expectations, and project management (coordination) tools to track progress for the team.
- Anticipate needs of team to be proactive with coworkers and clients; take initiative; committed to team's success; address concerns promptly
- Works with regional and national operation's teams to produce, format, and edit letters and other client documentation as needed
- Learn and utilize firm software to access and save data and documents in electronic format
- Assists with engagement/tax return scheduling and priorities.
- Provides first-level resources for team members' questions and guidance. Assists team members with software, hardware, and CBIZ process questions.
- Liaisons with Resource Management team for scheduling and establishing of engagement priorities.
- Assists team members with research of various technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or relevant field preferred
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Must possess analytical skills
- Must be able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally Proficient use of applicable technology
