Southern New Hampshire University is seeking student employees to fill the role of Press and Feature Writing Assistant for the Center for the Arts Lake Sunapee Region. The Center for the Arts (CFA) is seeking two creative writing interns to support the communications needs of our dynamic and growing arts organization. These are excellent opportunities for students or emerging professionals interested in writing, communications, marketing, or public relations. The Press & Feature Writing Assistant will focus on drafting and developing compelling press releases and feature stories to promote CFA's programs, artists, and community impact. This role is ideal for someone interested in journalism, public relations, or media communications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Writing and editing press materials and promotional content
  • Researching media contacts and story angles
  • Supporting public relations efforts with strong, engaging storytelling

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Experience with organizing information and writing

Work Schedule: Approx. 5-10 hours per week

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $12.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
