Job Title: Sr. Aerospace instructor Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84116 Duration: 12 Months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: 2^nd Shift 3 pm to 11: 30pm Pay Rate: $45/hr. on W2 without benefits Job Description: Regular and predictable attendance is required Employee Development Spec (Delivery and Facilitation) Salt Lake City This position supports fabrication in Salt Lake City and West Jordan, Utah. This position is for manufacturing/fabrication instructor with knowledge/experience in all or some of the following: Composite layup (pre/post cure), Composite Fabrication and/or Repair Fabrication of assemblies, System Installation, Production Certifications, Production Systems, and other general shop/fabrication practices at Boeing Salt Lake City/West Jordan. Role & Responsibilities: Leads complex group instruction sessions selecting and using advanced Lean principles, processes and tools to implement the Boeing Production System for internal or external customers. Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzes and interprets data. Provides feedback on assessment results and finds opportunities for improvement and potential areas of risk. Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to achieve business objectives. Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under minimal direction. Required Skills: Strong background in Fabrication, Assembly, and/or Quality Systems Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
