Overview: Job Description Summary: Shoots, produces, and edits graphics for internally-produced videos which support strategic priorities for Nationwide Children's Hospital. Utilizes both ENG and documentary-style videography, and assists in organizing and coordinating video shoots, delivering content aligned with marketing and organizational needs. Job Description: Essential Functions: Serves the organization in the role of marketing videographer, editor and producer. Oversees concept development, storytelling, scripting, and project briefs. Acts independently during video shoots, executing on all elements of production including filming, audio, lighting and location logistics. Builds and maintains hospital video archive system. Oversees Video Marketing technology, equipment, and software needs. Uses analytics and consumer insights to develop and enhance videos ensuring key messages are delivered in a compelling way and that NCH's videos are helping to accomplish goals. Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree in communication, broadcast journalism, film or related field, or equivalent experience, required. Licensure Requirement: (not specified) Certifications: (not specified) Skills: Highly skilled in all aspects of production including filming, lighting, audio and editing, and post-production. Expert use of professional camera equipment and professional editing software, required. Excellent communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to complete multiple assignments and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of content marketing, content optimization, search engine optimization (SEO) and social video hosting platforms, preferred. Must possess an attention to detail and ability to quickly sort through complex subject material to create videos with original b-roll, sound and graphics. Excellent project management skills. Ability to work in a team environment and assist with maintenance of Video Marketing editorial calendar. Experience: Experience as a TV photojournalist, preferred.
