What you'll do:
The Shipping and Logistic Associate prepares products for shipping and records and maintains all shipping documents related to this function.

As an Shipping and Logistics Assocaite, you will be responsible for:

• Review open orders and pick, pack and ship products and accessories to customer
• Confirm accuracy of product packed
• Based upon packing slip, prepare package for shipment according to carrier instructions for UPS
• or FedEx
• Assists receiving and warehouse personnel when needed
• Assists in keeping product and shipping supplies stocked
• Ensure that packages are shipped on a timely basis and consult with supervisor and internal
• customers regarding any shipping issues or need for clarifications
• Responsible for maintaining 5s and lean standards put in place to help streamline and improve
• processes and procedures
• Perform various other tasks as assigned

What you'll bring:

• High School Diploma
• 2 - 4 years experience
• Hands on or formal transportation training
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teaming skills
• Familiarity and experience in utilizing databases
• Internet Explorer navigation skills
• Familiarity with transportation software
• MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Detailed oriented
• Able to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
• Light manufacturing environment
