Position Title: Calibration Technician I

Work Location: Plano, TX 75024

Assignment Duration: 12 Months

Position Summary:

• Support calibration standards, temperature and humidity testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to follow written and automated calibration procedures.
• Basic understanding of measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures.
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining clear, concise records.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to adhere to calibration schedules.
• Understanding of automated systems and ability to record data accurately.
• Strong data entry skills and use of Excel.
• Positive attitude and dedication to building a career in calibration.
• Eagerness to learn and ability to work in a team environment.

Qualification & Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Diploma in a related technical field preferred.
• Candidates with a Master's degree may be considered overqualified.
• Previous experience with calibration (not required).
• Familiarity with manufacturing or research environments.
• Exposure to regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO, FDA).
• 1-2 years of experience in calibration or working with testing tools.
• Lab experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of calibration/testing equipment is sufficient if the candidate shows the right attitude and aptitude.
• Understanding of quality standards or prior experience in a quality-focused role.
• Knowledge of calibration standards and equipment used in manufacturing.
