Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring aSenior Product Analystto join ourPopulation Health and Care Managementteam inEagan, MN. In this role, you will providecross-functional supportto three product teams, acting as a key liaison betweendata insights, reporting, member and provider analytics, and strategy.

You'll play a critical role in driving strategic initiatives throughdata analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder collaboration. A core responsibility will be ensuring thetimely and accurate completion of the NCQA and Population Health Assessments, while also supportingdata validation, performance tracking, and continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate will have5 years of experiencein product or data analysis, project coordination, and stakeholder collaboration within project or product teams. Experience inhealthcare, particularly inpopulation health or care management, is preferred. Familiarity withSWOT analysisis a plus. The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively across functions and communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels. They will have a proven ability to drive successful initiatives and coordinate efforts that deliver measurable impact.

This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in office, out of Eagan, MN.

A Day In The Life

  • Responsible for gathering and interpreting data from various sources, identifying key insights, and providing actionable recommendations to drive product development and enhancement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize emerging customer/user problems, ensuring the team is always focused on delivering impactful solutions.

  • Create meaningful insights to help drive product development, solving problems that add value to our members and customers.

  • Collaborate with team(s) and Stakeholder(s) to discover and deliver the best solution to the market problem(s) presented by the Product Manager or Product Owner (business).

  • Work with a variety of internal and external partners to elicit and document business requirements for user stories.

  • Help Product Owner and scrum team to plan work in upcoming sprints, considering a variety of factors such as priority, effort/cost, complexity, dependencies, and business and system impacts

  • Help document the technology/business needs into product backlog stories/items.

  • Aid where needed throughout sprints for the development team, such as answering questions on requirements and providing input on testing strategy.

  • Maintain technical documentation of system and business processes.

  • Build strong relationships with team members, business users, stakeholders, subject matter experts, vendors, to help navigate through problems, decisions, and related implications.

Required Skills & Experiences

  • 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills

  • Experience with writing complex business/functional requirements and experience implementing Agile methodologies

  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties

  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Have

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business or a relevant field

  • Prior healthcare experience in Population Health or Care Management is strongly preferred.

  • Experience performing SWOT analysis

  • Experience with NCQA and/or Population Health assessments

  • Experience with SQL

  • Experience visualizing data in Excel or PowerBI

  • One of the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner(PSPO), SAFe PM/PO, CSM, or ICAgile Product Ownership (ICP-APO), or will be obtained in the subsequent 12 months after hiring.

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $88,600.00 - $117,400.00 - $146,200.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
