Product Development- Sample Coordinator

Kontoor Brands is currently seeking a Product Development Sample Coordinator who will be responsible for the inward and outward flow of samples for Kontoor. This includes tracking, receipt, and organization of samples for the Lee and Wrangler brands. This role assists in reducing cost by facilitating efficient sample reviews while driving on time and accurate tech packs to makers. The sample coordinator will also work closely with Product Development Operations manager on sending and receiving of trim development samples in order to meet GTM calendar dates.

Responsibilities:

• Receive emails from KBA/KBB on samples and track shipments as needed.
• Cross check receipts of samples to shipment notifications from KBA/KBB.
• Record samples received onto designated tracking report.
• Open sample boxes and distribute samples to receiver. Record distribution on tracker.
• Prepare and organize samples for storage as needed. Assist Product Development with gathering and organizing samples for sample review.
• Assist in the sending and tracking of trim development samples to Asia in order to have timely approvals on new trims.
• Support PD Operations Manager with trim receipts.
• Assist with setting up approved trim codes in Stride.
• Assist with Smartsheet projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Associates Degree or higher preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Smartsheet to manage samples
• Self Driven and motivated to succeed in fast paced environment
• Positive attitude and a willingness to help
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities at one time
• Highly organized to maintain accurate records of samples coming in and out of design office
• Ability to lift sample boxes- up to 35 lbs
