As an Information Security Analyst at United Bankers' Bank, you will work alongside a dedicated team of cybersecurity professionals to monitor UBB's security systems. Your expert analysis and investigative prowess will assist in identifying and fixing potential security threats and vulnerabilities while ensuring the safety and security of the bank's networks and ultimately upholding the reputational standards of United Bankers' Bank. Position is on-site at our Bloomington office. Work from home opportunities may be available after initial training period. Essential Responsibilities * Provides daily monitoring of security systems and threat intelligence and generates logging and analysis documentation. Identifies and appropriately escalates security-related events. * Works closely with the IT Infrastructure staff to understand and assimilate data provided from technical security monitoring and logging systems. Conducts recurring and ongoing technical oversight functions, including alert thresholds and documented responses; and provides meaningful internal metrics for the Information Security Officer to provide to UBB management team and Board of Directors. * Provides monthly reporting summaries of UBB's internal Vulnerability and security controls. * Supports Business Continuity Plan activities, including regular testing and documentation updates. * Work to help prepare for audits and regulatory examinations; helps respond to audit and regulatory examination findings. * Aids in managing external pen and vulnerability tests. Tracks and remediates findings. * Conducts assigned project work, research and other tasks as required. * Participates in industry training to remain current in any information security-related expertise, including cybersecurity, business continuity and vulnerability management. * Collect and present monthly vulnerability reporting. Working with infrastructure teams to help identify and remediate harmful vulnerabilities. * Keeping current with the latest vulnerabilities and threats. * Maintain a working catalog of all network software so may monitor and keep all versions up to date. * Continue to improve written procedures. * Continue to follow and maintain Info Sec's annual calendar. * Possible participation in after hours on-call support as needed for technical or security incidents. (Very Rare) * Using tools like EDR, SOC, and SIEM to investigate anomalies. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities * Bachelor's Degree (preferred). * Related certifications or progress toward certifications strongly preferred. * Strong professional communication skills, including interpersonal and written communications * Working knowledge of information technology or technical security field with minimum of three years' experience. * Proven ability to work independently and exercise judgment * Good judgment in identifying, escalating and communicating technical and security issues or threats. * Effective time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines * Be able to troubleshoot issues with our security tools as they arise. * Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical tools Benefits * Medical, Dental, and Vision * HSA with a generous company contribution * Medical and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts * 401(k) plan with a 3% company contribution, plus up to an additional 1% match -Roth option available * 12 Paid holidays To continue to learn more about our superior benefits package and apply for this position, please visit our Careers page at https://www.ubb.com/about-us/careers.
