ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
This position is responsible for facilitating the funding of commercial, business banking, Premier Banking, and branch loans in support to the Closing Department. Primary duties include preparing wire documentation and coordinating verification of instructions, loan documents and the movement of closing funds under the supervision of Closing Administrator Team Lead and/or Closing Post Closing Manager. The Funding Specialists are responsible for the coordination and completion of funding loans for the Bank's Commercial Lending and Business Banking departments. Responsibilities also include provision of administrative support for all aspects of Commercial and Business Banking Loans, including LaserPro documentation as required by the Closing Administrator Team Lead. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
1. Prepares Commercial Lending, Business Banking, branch small business, and Premier Banking loan wire documentation. 2. Reviews and verifies wire instructions with title agents in order to facilitate preparation of funding wires. 3. Performs all necessary debits and/or transfers from DDA accounts for payment of fees and internal transfer of closing proceeds. 4. Determines verification level and assists with approval coordination with Relationship Associates as per Bank policy. 5. Supports the internal documentation group with overflow LaserPro documentation needs with preparing internally generated loan closing documentation, reviewing entity documentation, searches and loan approvals; and calculating loan fees for input into the nCino system. 6. Assists closing administrator team with duties as assigned. 7. Communicates and coordinates with the wire room, Commercial Loan Relationship Associates, Closing Administrators, and Booking and Post-Closing teams to facilitate loan funding in a timely manner. 8. Stays current with funding and closing procedures, policy, regulations, and general banking skills. Requirements
