Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic machining functions including set up, operating, and grinding or other related equipment involved in finishing parts.
  • Remove excess material and burrs from surface by performing deburring, blasting, tumbling, staking, lapping, sawing, splitting, polishing, and other basic machining functions.
  • Review blueprints, work orders, or machining instructions to determine product specifications, tool requirements, and operational sequences.
  • Calibrate or adjust equipment to ensure quality production, using tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, protractors, or ring gauges.
  • Assemble, repair, and inspect machined parts using hand tools. Log and enter information for tracking and quality purposes.
  • Maintain work areas to ensure the safe operations of all tools and equipment and adhere to safety procedures and regulations.
  • Attend all meetings and trainings as required, including safety training and team huddles.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Experience: 0+ years relevant experience.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Experience: Hand/power tool use and blueprint reading experience highly desirable.
