Pivotal Health Solutions is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and human resources functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll processing, and employee benefit administration. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality across all financial and HR operations.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Process incoming payments and reconcile accounts
  • Follow up on overdue invoices and resolve payment issues
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions

Accounts Payable (AP):

  • Process vendor invoices and match with purchase orders/receipts
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Process credit card transactions and match to statement
  • Maintain vendor files and ensure business documents are up to date

Payroll Processing:

  • Collect and verify employee timekeeping data
  • Process weekly payroll using payroll software
  • Ensure accurate calculations of wages, taxes, and deductions

HR & Benefits Administration:

  • Assist HR Operations team with benefit enrollments, I9, documentation, compliance posters, and answering questions
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll, or HR administration
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, ADP) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality
  • Knowledge of employment laws and payroll tax regulation is a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including overnight travel
