**Please note: Candidates must reside in the local Phoenix, AZ area. This is a hybrid role that requires four days per week onsite at our Phoenix, AZ facility with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week.**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our global Manufacturing Partner Network while overseeing the company's operations software systems. In this hybrid role, you will focus primarily on supply chain management (80%), developing strategic relationships with key manufacturing partners, and Production Level Customers across Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico. You will drive continuous improvement, manage outsourced and inhouse production account projects, and ensure supply chain efficiency in technologies such as 3DP, CNC machining, and injection molding. The remaining 20% of your role will focus on overseeing operations software systems (ERP, MES, CRM), ensuring smooth functionality, process automation, and cross-departmental integration. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN THIS SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ROLE?

Supply Chain Management (80%)



  • Global Manufacturing Partner Network Management:

    • Oversee and manage the Manufacturing Partner Network across Europe, Asia, North America, and Mexico.
    • Centralize regional initiatives, ensuring effective collaboration with factory teams and manufacturing partners.
    • Lead supply chain teams focused on 3DP, CNC machining, and injection molding


  • Strategic Planning & Network Development:

    • Develop strategic plans to expand and optimize the global manufacturing partner network.
    • Identify opportunities to scale the network and improve supply chain efficiency and agility.


  • Performance Optimization & Supplier Relationships:

    • Drive continuous improvement within the supply chain network by monitoring and enhancing supplier performance (quality, delivery, and capacity).
    • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key manufacturing partners and lead onboarding processes for new suppliers.


  • Management of Outsourced Projects:

    • Oversee Project Managers responsible for outsourced manufacturing projects.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and adhere to budgetary constraints.


  • Management of In-house Production Level Projects:

    • Oversee Project Managers responsible for in-house production level manufacturing. The Project Manager will work in collaboration with Customer Success Managers, Estimators, Partner Success Managers, Account Managers and Product Managers.
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, meet quality standards, and adhere to budgetary constraints.


  • Risk Management & Supply Chain Innovation:

    • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    • Implement innovative solutions to drive improvements in lead times, cost savings, and supplier capabilities.




Operations Admin (Software) (20%)




    • Software Tools & Systems Management:

      • Oversee the management of operations-related software platforms such as Vendor Network and quote tool/MES
      • Ensure seamless integration of software tools across departments, including manufacturing and supply chain operations.


    • Process Automation & Efficiency:

      • Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks within the operations and supply chain functions using software tools.
      • Train staff on new software functionalities and tools to optimize workflows.


    • Quote Tool implementation & System Troubleshooting:

      • Ensure accurate quoting for external suppliers in our quote tool system.
      • Generate reports on operational performance, system efficiency, and supply chain metrics.


    • Cross-Departmental Support:

      • Collaborate with partners to troubleshoot software issues and oversee system updates including new quoting tools or pricing updates.
      • Act as a point of contact for internal teams regarding software-related queries and operational support (Quote tool and Vendor Network Software).




    WHAT WILL YOU NEED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER ROLE?



    • Must Reside in the local Phoenix, AZ area with availability to work onsite 4 days per week/1 day remotely
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or any other related field (will consider equivalent combination of education and experience)
    • 3 plus years' experience managing both direct and indirect reports
    • 3 plus years' experience in a Global Supply Chain Management role in Manufacturing (required)
    • Experience developing strategic relationships with key vendor partners and leading supply chain teams.
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing innovative solutions that drive improvements in lead times, cost savings, and supplier capabilities as well as identifying opportunities to scale networks and improve supply chain efficiency and agility.
    • Demonstrated experience designing scalable management processes
    • Experience in operations-related software platforms such as Vendor Network and quote tool/MES systems or other systems (troubleshooting, training staff on new software, identifying opportunities to automate processes with software to optimize workflows).
    • Ability to ensure seamless integration of software tools across departments, including manufacturing and supply chain operations
    • Ability to train staff on new software functionalities
    • Ability to drive continuous improvement within the supply chain network by monitoring and enhancing supplier performance (quality, delivery, and capacity).
    • Ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key manufacturing partners and lead onboarding processes for new suppliers.
    • Strong analytical skills- experience analyzing trends and vendor performance
    • Excellent negotiation and contract review skills
    • Ability to implement innovative solutions to drive improvements in lead times, cost savings, and supplier capabilities.
    • Autonomous, self-driven, detail-oriented, excellent communicator with outstanding time management and interpersonal skills (empathetic, team player, problem solver with excellent conflict management skills)

      A3D Manufacturing has determined that the annual new hire pay range for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000. Since we appreciate transparency, we are sharing that we expect to hire for this position around the middle of this range (dependent on experience/location), which will allow you the opportunity to progress as you grow in your career. Your base pay will be based on a number of factors, including knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
