MAJOR FUNCTION

This position will provide full time support to the US Distribution operations and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements. The position will be responsible for coordinating all maintenance and facilities repairs, regulatory programs, permitting applications, and lead the development and coordination of the facilities and maintenance as required for compliance.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Practice safe working techniques and re-enforce the safety policies, guidelines, and procedures as set out by the Company.
  • Provide daily guidance and direction in maintenance and facilities, ensure safety and operations in the facility.
  • Oversee all aspects of building upkeep, ensuring safety, functionality and efficiency, including managing maintenance staff, contractors, budgets and implementing maintenance plans.
  • Ensure that contractor personnel working on the property are in compliance with Nilfisk policies and safety requirements.
  • Maintain and update as needed SOP's for all safe work practices and equipment and utilize them in day to day training.
  • Ensure inspections by regulatory agencies are coordinated and deficiencies minimized and corrected.
  • Plan and schedule preventative maintenance programs.
  • Track expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain all logs and documentation associated with permits and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure the facility is clean, safe and well-maintained.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and inspections.
  • Create and assist with maintaining the Site Preparedness and Emergency Plans & Procedures.
  • Accountable for researching, writing and submitting environmental permit applications.
  • Accountable for compliance completing permit reporting requirements.
  • Maintain working relationships with Regulatory Agencies.
  • Create Emergency Response Teams.
  • Create data and actions plans as well as participate in site QBR meetings.
  • The above duties and responsibilities are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all-inclusive.

EDUCATION & TRAINING:

  • AS degree in a technical field of study, a bachelor degree in related field preferred
  • Arkansas State Electrical license required.
  • Excellent computer skills (e.g. MS Office including Excel and Word) are essential.
