Asst Controller

Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of various corporate financial and general accounting activities

• A working knowledge of construction accounting at a level normally acquired through completion of a bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management or related field or equivalent experience.

• Assist Controller in completion of all aspects of monthly and quarterly close in accordance with policies and checklists outlined by Everus.
• Assist in the development, implementation, and/or maintenance of corporate accounting systems related to collection and analysis of costs and/or budgets.
• Assures accounting records are prepared and maintained in accordance with the company's accounting policies and related accounting principles and practices, and that subsidiary ledgers reconcile with the general ledger.
• Collaborates with management to develop schedules, procedures, and systems to enable the informative and timely accumulation, adjustment and reporting of financial data.
• Perform banking activities as required.
• Assist with creation and analysis on special projects or activities supporting operating departments (e.g., Job Costing and/or projections on Mega Jobs).
• Participate in internal and/or external audits.
• Take general management direction from immediate supervisors.
• Assist in preparation of financial reporting to President and Corporate Executives.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
