Work Control Planner 4

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Develops and/or reviews work packages including time, material, and labor estimates, written step-by-step work instructions, procedures, and/or safety and testing requirements for the implementation and control of operations, maintenance, or modification of work activities within a given facility or area. Specific planning duties may be related to mechanical, electrical, chemical and/or radiological equipment, policies, and procedures and may also include resolving work restraints and bringing work packages to final closure.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Position requires a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience directly related to the occupation. At this level, post graduate course work may be expected.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Knowledgable in mobile work package, asset suites, standard MS Office/Excel skills.
• Prior Planning experience in nuclear field.
• Experience Generating IWDs.
• Technical Writing Skills.
• P6 experience.
• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance.
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment.
• Satisfactory results of a pre-employment screening, which includes a background check and drug screening.

LOCATION

Position will be 100% on-site in Los Alamos, NM.
