Join us as our next ProductionManager, reporting to our Site Operations Director. You will manage and coordinate the production of intermediate or finished products, ensuring that all materials are produced and packaged on time and compliant to the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices and safety standards

This role will be based in Bethlehem, PA.

In this exciting role you will:

Production Management




  • Control production, material flow, and inventory to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules of the assigned production line(s).



  • Develop and improve production processes and overall organization on basis of LEAN methods.



  • Obtain functions and enhance machinery and equipment in collaboration with the engineering department.



  • Identify and solve independently process and product related problems.



  • Define and implement necessary investments.



  • Work in close collaboration with other operative departments.





People Management




  • Oversee development of work teams within the department through coaching and training, and engage team members through cascading of goals, visual performance boards, performance management and ongoing communications of factory changes and performance.



  • Support employee involvement in safety, analytical problem solving, and lean projects, encouraging a teamwork atmosphere.





Technical Skills




  • Expertise in world-class manufacturing concepts (LEAN).



  • Expertise in product industrialization.



  • Expertise in change management.



  • Experience with business process/system redesign.



  • Experience with financial concepts (e.g. OPEX, CAPEX).



  • Understanding of ISO, FSCC, Food Safety (HACCP, AIB or equivalent), GHP and GMP requirements, EHS.





Required Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or a related discipline.



  • 4 to 7 years of experience in manufacturing operations with a background in supply chain, quality, and materials management.



  • 2+ years of progressive experience in people management





Additional Qualification




  • MBA or Master's Degree in a Technical field
