Responsibilities

As a Primary Therapist, you'll be at the heart of our clinical team, conducting assessments, crafting personalized treatment plans, and facilitating engaging individual, family, and group therapies. Plus, you'll provide essential clinical support to keep our program thriving!

Essential Duties:

  • Family Communication Champion: Be the go-to clinical contact for families, ensuring proactive and open communication that fosters trust and collaboration.

  • Therapy Facilitator Extraordinaire: Lead dynamic individual, family, and group therapy sessions using Newport Healthcare's innovative clinical model and Attachment-Based Family Therapy techniques.

  • Family Engagement Enthusiast: Host Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups to create a warm and welcoming environment for everyone involved.

  • Crisis Management Specialist: Conduct risk or crisis assessments and provide timely interventions and management as needed, ensuring our clients feel supported and safe.

  • Team Player: Join weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision sessions to share insights and collaborate with your colleagues.


Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field or enrollment in Doctorate program from an accredited or state approved graduate school required.
  • Licensed or ability to transfer license in Marriage Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychologist in the state in which services are provided
  • Experience with individual, family, and/or group therapy with young adults/adolescents
  • Experience with mental health, substance abuse, eating disorders, or trauma-informed treatment preferred.

Compensation for this role ranges from$76,000 - $95,000 depending on education and experience.

An individual's pay rate within the posted range is determined by several factors, including skills, experience, education, and market conditions. Additionally, we consider internal equity to ensure fairness within our organization.
