Description

Sigma Defense is seeking DevSecOps Engineer with a strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking to fill a new position in a growing team. We work to bring modern software practices to development and production environments in the Department of Defense. The ideal candidate is preferably located in Charleston, SC.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of prior information assurance experience.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Linux, Helm, and Flux.
  • Strong background in Kubernetes, Linux, Infrastructure as Code, and Networking.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher.
  • Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar field of study.
  • Degree may be substituted for comparable additional industry experience and/or industry standard training and certification.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Work on a team to create Infrastructure as Code to manage ingress into our environment.
  • Work on a team to develop pipelines and processes that implement containerized RMF (Risk Management Framework) processes.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $149,000 annually.
