JOB TITLE: SER Research Professional I - Geophysics JOB PURPOSE: Work under the guidance of SER Research Professional II or III, Program Manager, Center Director, Senior Director of Research on applied energy research to drive energy-related economic development for Wyoming. This Research Professional I position will work under the guidance of senior research professionals and program managers at the Center for Economic Geology Research (CEGR), a Center of Excellence at the University of Wyoming's School of Energy Resources (SER), on applied geologic energy research. This position seeks a specialist in geophysics, with a preference towards candidates that have geophysical research experience in carbon management and/or energy production. COMPETENCIES specific to the job:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Physicist, Geochemist, Economist, Data/GIS/Computer Science, Visualization, social sciences related to energy development, etc.) Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy . DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
