A Business Development Representative (BDR) focuses on renewing current business opportunities with existing customers. This is an entry-level position in sales, playing a crucial role in renewing business opportunities and fostering existing relationships. Responsibilities of this position include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Identifies sales opportunities through direct prospecting, follow-up and networking.
- Communicate with existing customers to renew relationships
- Conduct follow-ups and maintain regular communication with clients.
- Consistently hits or exceeds sales objectives
- Documents daily sales activities, prepares accurate reports and forecasts, manages pipeline and communicates such activities to management
- Collaborate with internal, cross-functional teams regarding services, selling and competitive matters
- Works collaboratively with the operations team as well as other groups within the organization
- Develops and maintains a high level of knowledge about services provided by the company
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring product satisfaction
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the product portfolio and industry advancements
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and account records in the CRM system
The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Technical aptitude to understand product specifications and clinical procedures
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Adaptability in fast-paced environments
- High attention to detail
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or combination of experience
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Background in dental implants or clinical environments is a plus
