Job Title: Sr Events Manager Duration: 3+ months Location: Bellevue (preferred) 98006 Can be in Overland Park or Frisco (4 days onsite) Summary: The Sr Events Manager will oversee the event marketing process, including strategic planning, creative development, execution, measurement, and communication of such events (may be internal or external). This role will be responsible for developing and executing events that support brand, business, and communication objectives. The role will Work cross-functionally with multiple internal departments, properties, agencies, and senior-level leadership. Responsibilities: Lead strategic development and execution of major events. Establish and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Lead and manage an event agency. Prepare and present strategies and programs to senior leadership. Establish key performance indicators, measure, and deliver results. Oversee event budget. Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed. Must Have: 4-7 years' experience in developing and executing major events. 4-7 years proven experience in creating and managing major high-profile events to drive business and brand growth. 4-7 years Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and agency partners. Bachelor's in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Preferred: Experience executing events across all targets (trade/industry, consumer, and media) is a plus. Telecom or software, or high-tech experience a plus. License/Certification (CMP, Certified Meeting Professional (CMP), Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP), and Digital Event Strategist (DES) certifications (Strongly preferred)
