The Role:

The Accounts Receivable and Cash Manager is responsible for overseeing the cash management processes and accounts receivable functions within the organization. This role involves managing daily cash flow, processing all payments for global payables, monitoring accounts receivable balances, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and optimizing cash flow to support the organization's financial stability. The manager will collaborate closely with other finance and operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective cash management practices.

Responsibilities:



  • Oversee daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances and ensuring adequate liquidity.
  • Manage short-term cash forecasting to ensure timely payments and cover operating expenses.
  • Optimize cash flow by balancing payments and collections.
  • Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures to improve cash flow efficiency.
  • Monitor bank accounts and reconcile cash balances regularly.
  • Identify and address discrepancies in cash management operations.
  • Supervise and manage the accounts receivable team, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Develop and enforce credit policies and collection strategies to reduce bad debts and improve collections.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Manage customer relationships related to payment disputes and work with the sales team to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Review and analyze aged receivables and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external financial policies and regulations.
  • Prepare regular cash flow reports and accounts receivable aging reports for senior management.
  • Provide analysis of cash flow trends and accounts receivable performance.
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial reports, including reconciliations.
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements based on reporting and analysis.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the cash management and accounts receivable teams.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, customer service, etc.) to address customer issues and improve cash collection processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.
  • Participate in audits and provide necessary documentation to auditors.
  • Assist in treasury management and funding decisions as required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:



    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in cash management, accounts receivable, or financial management

    Target Compensation:



    • $70,000- $87,000 Annual Salary
