Job Description:

The Vacations Connectivity Consultant collaborates closely with Pricing, Content and Partner Engagement in order to execute the technical onboarding of hotel partners into the Southwest Vacations platform. This role acts as the single point of contact for newly signed partners through their integration process, including coordination, setup, testing, and content validation. The Vacations Connectivity Consultant is a detail-oriented, strategic thinker who is ready to drive the future of Southwest Airlines through forward-looking planning, tooling integrations and partner expansions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead partner onboarding efforts from contract signature through successful technical integration
  • Coordinate kickoff calls and manage the onboarding checklist across internal teams
  • Collaborate with Pricing and Content teams to validate inventory and ensure pricing accuracy
  • Collaborate on connectivity initiatives with regional teams and central technology to align with business goals.
  • Perform connectivity testing and resolve configuration or content issues
  • Support troubleshooting efforts and resolve technical issues during account activation to ensure smooth onboarding.
  • Support refinement of connectivity procedures with hotel suppliers, CRS, PMS, and Channel Managers to ensure seamless performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the partner throughout onboarding (handoff occurs post-launch)
  • Track and report onboarding status and partner readiness milestones
  • Maintain internal documentation and ensure handoffs to post-onboarding support are clean and complete
  • Support leadership with additional strategic initiatives as needed
  • May perform other duties as directed by Employee's Leadership
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of the hotel and travel industry, with familiarity in OTA or channel manager ecosystems preferred
  • Skilled in organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with partners
  • Ability to troubleshoot partner-facing and content issues in collaboration with internal teams
  • Ability to self-start with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

Education

  • Required - High School Diploma or GED

Experience

  • Preferred: Experience in project management in cross-functional environments.
  • Preferred: Experience working directly with partner contacts, coordinating between business and technical teams, and navigating competing priorities.
  • Preferred: Experience in travel systems
  • Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
    • Online Travel Industry Connectivity and Commercial functions
    • External and internal partner relationship management
Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from [limited space work station/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

Pay & Benefits:

Competitive market salary from $110,700.00 - $111,900.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
