POSITION SUMMARY:

This position supports Quality Assurance (QA) by ensuring the accurate receipt and release of materials and maintains complete and precise records to support manufacturing and quality operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Confirm temperature charts and data logs contain accurate information for existing inventory; update or correct as needed.
  • Maintain current Release Pass/Hold/Fail tags on all inventory intended for customers or related to Quality testing, ensuring records reflect the correct physical location of inventory in quarantine or on hold.
  • Perform inventory and cycle counts on quality control testing materials and prepare corresponding documentation.
  • Inspect and receive incoming raw materials to ensure quality standards and customer requirements, and document all findings.
  • Review batch records for quality control testing materials and prepare appropriate documentation.
  • Maintain all records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and retention procedures.
  • Specific duties may vary depending upon departmental needs.


EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High School Diploma or equivalent.



KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Attention to detail; self-motivated and organized.
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to clearly organize, present, and articulate ideas both verbally and in writing.
  • Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.


  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
  • Ability to read small type fine print on occasion.
  • Ability to travel between work sites.
  • Ability to follow laboratory safety instructions; ability to use protective equipment.



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:



  • There are aspects of this position that may require a person in this role be able to work at heights up to six feet on occasion and move/lift objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Up to 100 % of the day may be spent sitting or standing at a desk/lab bench working with a computer or other items that will require fine motor manipulation.



WORK ENVIRONMENT:



  • This position is performed in a standard office environment and in a laboratory environment.



COMPENSATION SUMMARY:

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $36,100 to $51,000. This salary range represents a general guideline as MSD considers other factors when presenting an offer of employment, such as scope and responsibilities of the position, external market factors, and the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, education and experience. Employees may qualify for a discretionary or non-discretionary bonus in addition to their base salary. These annual bonuses are intended to recognize individual performance and enable employees to benefit from the Company's overall success.
