The H&S Family of Bakeries are a network of 10 bakeries and multiple distribution centers along the East Coast all committed to one thing: producing the best quality bread products. H&S Family of Bakeries includes Northeast Foods, H&S Bakery and Schmidt Baking Co. Together, our baked goods can be found in a wide range of establishments, from fast food and quick-service restaurants to cafeterias, hospitals, grocery stores and universities to name a few. As the IT Help Desk Specialist, you will provide support for employees with issues arising from everyday computer use. Candidates should have a mix of technical and customer service skills and be passionate about technology and helping people. In this role you will: * Monitor and troubleshoot network connections/outages including VoIP and Data * Watch for and assess potential security threats * Respond in person or remotely to incoming end user requests via the ticketing system, phone, or email. * Troubleshoot end user issues with but not limited to hardware, software, email, printing, file access, authentication * Manage and set up Android tablets using MDM * Set up and configure computers and printers * Install/Update Operating Systems and business applications on Windows PC's - Windows 10/11 * Install/Upgrade Computer Hardware * Maintain IT knowledgebase with known issues and resolutions * Assist the senior IT technicians and/or network support vendor as needed with projects and support Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in information technology or cyber security and 0-2 years of related work experience, or associate degree and 3-4 years of related work experience * Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree * 5+ years of related experience to perform the essential job functions * Technical Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certifications, Network +, A+, Security + are a plus * Support full time in office monthly rotating shifts to cover Monday-Friday 8 AM - 4:30 PM * Available for on-call rotation after hours or weekends, normally 1 week per month - most issues are handled remotely. * Valid driver's license and willingness to occasionally travel to local locations on short notice.
