SUMMARY

Provides general office support to the Early Intervention Administrative and Service Coordination Offices. Responsibilities include data entry into local and statewide data systems, HCSIS/Pelican, typing, back up to answering telephone calls, scheduling, and assist with large mailings, copying and filing.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* The OSP IV completes a wide variety of copying, faxing and e-mails and any follow-up that is needed to disperse information to families, providers, State and County offices and Department staff.
* Complete clearings in the statewide database verify funding, including eligibility for Medical Assistance.
* Coordinate with other counties to ensure smooth transfer of children from and into the county
* Enters and updates consumer demographics in Dynamics and Pelican databases.
* Responsible for closure of child files in local and state databases, ensuring that all required data elements are complete and accurate.
* Appropriately responds in a timely professional manner to phone calls from all stakeholders.
* The OSP IV is a full participant in supporting an environment that encourages teamwork by assisting in the absence of the office receptionist or OSP and maintaining morale.
* Work as a team to assure clerical efficiency by assisting others in completing typing/data entry and daily paperwork.
* Other Duties as delegated

MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:

  • High School Degree preferred.
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Internet Explorer.
  • Ability to follow County policies and procedures.
  • Ability to respect confidentiality and HIPPA requirements.
  • Ability to ensure familiarity and compliance with relevant federal, state, and county regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Reliable means of transportation to get to work.
