Job Description:

Summary

The Commercial Technical Advisor will work directly with the organization's Commercial team. The role assists with developing marketing strategies utilizing technical experience that aligns with organizational objectives, analyzes business development and monitors market trends to forecast profitability of products and services, and promotes product and services to new and existing customers.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with evaluating utilization, budgets, expenditures, research, and development appropriations, and return-on-investment and profit-loss projections
  • Analyze commercial strategies and monitor market trends to forecast profitability of products and services
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret market research data
  • Prepare and present commercial strategies that are in alignment with sales, business development, and support operations
  • Visit establishments to evaluate needs and to promote product or technical service sales
  • Visit ProPetro frac locations to observe equipment, operations, and strategize improvements through KPI's
  • Answer questions about products, prices, availability
  • Contact new and existing customers to discuss the benefits of the organization's products or services
  • Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or another related field, preferred
  • 4 years or more of sales and technical operations experience in the Permian Basin with all levels of E&P completion team relations, preferred
  • 3 years or more experience in oil and gas operations, preferred
  • Active member in oil and gas industry chapters (SPE)(YPE)(EWTC)(AADE), preferred
  • Strong presentation and networking skills
  • Outgoing and personable, able to foster and maintain professional relationships
  • Organized with high management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to gather and interpret relevant data
  • Proficient working in Microsoft office 365 applications and ability to quickly learn other work-related software
  • Ability to travel for work as needed
