The Role

The Director Sales Operations will report to the Sr. Director Sales Operations. They will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are focused on, such as routines for forecasting, quotas and compensation planning. A heavy emphasis placed on sales force governance, data analysis and business recommendations. The current scope includes supporting the regional SVPs and the desk based team. This scope can be amended based on business needs.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Mentor a team; helping improve their productively, efficiency, and leadership abilities
  • Assist with sales metrics and dashboards as needed and requested by multiple levels of management
  • Works across the sales leadership to enable sales strategy and execution by collaborating with sales leaderships on needs and coordinating with them on execution.
  • Lead sales forecasting, planning, and processes used within the sales organization. Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization's planning efforts.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on sales GTM process, tracking and administration.
  • Supports the equitable assignment of sales force quotas and ensures quotas are optimally allocated to all sales channels and resources.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement
  • Execute the tactical elements of sales to develop best practices and continuously improve effectiveness: sales model/processes/methodologies, competencies, productivity metrics, quota planning, coverage model, territory design, lead generation management, departmental communications
  • Responsible for implementing and enforcing processes and tools that will maintain integrity and accuracy of sales process and data
  • Acts as a liaison with other departments by understanding the sales model and ensuring the integrity of information available through various system and reporting structures.
  • Provide overall support and departmental coordination for the CS and Sales team inquiries, ad-hoc requests and projects.
What We Look For in a Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of applicable education and experience required; MBA
  • or related graduate degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with 3-5 years of experience as a director.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, people-management and mentoring skills.
  • High energy level and demonstrated drive to succeed.
  • Proven ability to glean insights from processes, data, sales team feedback, industry best practices, continuous personal development, etc. to develop improved strategies
  • Strong acumen and experience with both highly transactional inside sales models, and mid-market/Enterprise inside/Field/Large complex sales models
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and other sales productivity tools, including best practices for use, integrations, reporting
  • Proven record of developing and implementing tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity, conversion rates, and sales team performance
Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

Location Based Pay Ranges:

$149,084 - $198,779 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY.
$156,539 - $208,718 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI.
$163,993 - $218,657 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
